Donnie Carvin and Scotty Fraser have been working together for awhile now to create new and different music. They dig deep into their collective pasts and look for the thoughts, dreams, pain, happiness, joy and all of the other emotions that drive the human spirit and try to express it in song. They have co-written many originals and are currently performing at open mic nights around the area.
Donnie's influences are many and they include: Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Van Morrison and many more. Scotty's influences are also diverse and include Bob Seger, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Allman Brothers Band, Molly Hatchet, Ronnie Milsap, Don Williams, Tim McGraw, Toby Kieth and many others.
The sound they create is a mixture of all the influences combined to deliver a sound that is retro yet fresh, biting yet smooth. Every song is different but at the same time it carries with it the similarity of style. The sound we strive for is their own, influenced on many levels by many others, but it is impossible to sound like any of them. Vocally, it is hard to pin down who Scotty and Donnie sound like. Their unique singing styles are untrained and natural.
Their high energy shows have created a stir in the Middle Georgia region and they have been invited to appear at Bike Rallys, Veteran Benefit Shows, Cancer Benefit Shows. In association with the Atlanta Opry, they have been invited to appear at The Swallow at the Hollow and several other local establishments. These guys will play the same show no matter the size of the crowd, be it 2 or 20,000, their main goal is to ensure that folks leave their shows with a sense that they have been truly entertained.
