Dear Everyone, I am brand new to the whole internet radio thing. I have been reading up on it for weeks and still am confused. I have found Loud City to be the most interesting broadcasting host. The only problem is, there is no way to contact anyone. Does anyone know who the owner is. Is there any support on the Loud City website, of any kind? I do not know what a unit is. (when you buy unit time) is this 50 hours? If so, are you saying to keep my station running 24/7, I will need 720 units at like a couple hundred a month? I have read up on things, still having problems installing winamp with the odd cast plugin. Do I have to be a professional? I was under the impression this was going to be easy.
I guess I would feel more comfortable if I had someone to talk to. I don’t know about you but I like to have some kind of contact with the business I am going to be giving my money too. I already have my website up, my small amount of listeners and I am ready to go soon. Just don’t think your website covers enough info upfront. It just looks like about three sections from http://swcast.net/ were copied and pasted to your website. When I first tried signing up (for about three days), the page said error, and that the security certificate was invalid for this website. I finally just signed up for free and it finally put me through to a page where I could sign up.
I would like to start being a paying customer. Unfortunately, I am getting the impression that the owner of this site just thinks the site can run and work it’s self. In some cases, for the experienced professionals, maybe. Do you guys welcome brand new broadcasters without experience or do you not want my money?
Please, if anyone gets this message, please respond by maybe directing me to a manager, owner or if you are nice to tell me how to get started. I have been to several broadcasting sites and Loud City is by far the most attractive to me. I added a picture to my Loud city profile, instead of my picture loading, an image of two GAY unicorns having sex with each other appeared instead of my pic. I was a little confused but definitely humored. Lol…. About a day later, the gay unicorns were removed and my pic appeared. I did not like that pic and wanted to change it again so I uploaded a new pic a couple days ago. Once again, instead of my image appearing, a pic of a 12 year old boy, pissing on a wall showed up. I don’t get it. Is the owner of this site just a Genius with humor, who created certain tests you have to pass before becoming a member? If so, I just want the fuck in…..lol…. Hope to hear from someone soon.
