Falwell - aye or nay Reply

Regardless of your religious inclination at this point in your life, life itself is a spiritual journey. Some discover this very early in life and some very late in life as did emperor Constantine the Great in the 4th Century AD who was baptised on his death bed. The corner stones of Christanity are found in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Among these are that you must first love yourself. Without being able to love youself how can you love others? If you love yourself you will build others up and not spend your life tearing others down. At some point in the spirtual journey one must put aside the bitter memories of past experiences in order to find the inner peace we seek with ourselfs. The abusive parent that may have negatively affected our development during our formative years most likely had their own negative experiences during their upbringing. The point being that the greatest legacy we can leave our children is one of spirituality. I don't think Jerry Falwell had anything else in mind in his lifetime on this earth and I was never a follower of his ministry.
